The Mage who gives Link his first Quake Medallion claims he enchanted the Medallion, giving it these properties. Once the medallion is thrown, it turns every enemy on the screen into Slimes. The earthquake data on this map are collected automatically from various public data sources namely USGS EMSC GFZ and GeoNet. The earthquake is a shaking of the Earths surface caused by the displacement of a part of the Earths crust and the sudden release. However, the item is not gained permanently and must be carried around until thrown and used. M15 or greater 145 earthquakes in the past 24 hours. The Quake Medallion is first found near the end of the Death Mountain Foothills stage. The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords Adventures Any subsequent objects thrown into the circle will just cause the fish to appear and shoot a fireball at Link.

Upon throwing an object into the circle of stones, a giant Catfish appears and offers Link the medallion in exchange for him not pestering it anymore. The Quake Medallion is obtained near the Lake of Ill Omen. However, it cannot be used without the Master Sword, as Link finds out if he tries to use it while his Master Sword has been left at the Smithery for tempering, possibly because the magical quake is unleashed by striking the ground with the sword. The Quake Medallion has the power to create massive earthquakes, damaging enemies and weakening lesser opponents by turning them into Slime, and it can also shake out the contents (if any) of any tree in the near vicinity, just like if Link dashed into a tree using his Pegasus Boots. The Quake Medallion is needed to open the entrance to the Dark World's seventh dungeon, Turtle Rock. 1.2 The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords AdventuresĪppearances The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past.1.1 The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past.
